Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the sports of combat. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first minute. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 saw her rise up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy as the catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round in the second. In her next fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first few seconds and was awarded a prize for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first match she's ever had in any significant role. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round in UFC on ESPN 7. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
